Answer support requests
from one place.
Requests from the portal, from email and from live chat gather in one inbox. Every request gets a code, an owner and a status, and the customer can see where it stands.
Customer Support module features
From the moment a request reaches you until it is resolved and closed, every step is inside Workinno.
One inbox
See every customer request in a single list. The portal, email, live chat and the requests your own team opens all queue up together, and each row says where it came from. No request is forgotten on some other screen.
The ticket code
Every request opens with a six-character code. The code is not sequential, so nobody outside can guess your total request count; the customer uses the same code when searching. Your workload cannot be read off the code.
The customer portal
You get a ready-made support page for your customers. They open a request there, then follow its status from the same page with the code and their email. The customer follows their own request themselves.
Requests from email
Mark a connected email account as a support inbox. Every customer mail that arrives at that address becomes a request; a continuation of the same exchange does not open a new one, it is added to the existing request. The customer keeps writing to the address they know.
Handover from live chat
If a visitor asks for an agent in chat and nobody answers, the conversation becomes a request. The chat transcript becomes the first message of the request and the two records point at each other, so the trail is not lost. The customer does not have to explain it all over again.
A button on your website
Paste the code from the settings onto your site. A support button appears at the bottom right and the visitor leaves a request without leaving the site. The visitor leaves the request without leaving the site.
The team opens a request
For a customer who calls on the phone, you open the request yourself. The record joins the same queue, and its source shows that your team started it. Work that arrives by phone runs through the same queue.
Assignment and filters
Assign a request to one person. The "My requests" filter separates out your own work, while the inbox shows the ones still without an owner. Two people never answer the same request.
The status flow
A request opens as new, then moves through in progress, waiting for the customer, resolved and closed. If a customer writes again on a closed request, it reopens. The customer's second question is not lost.
First-reply and resolution time
On every request, when the first reply, the resolution and the closing happened is recorded. It sits in the list as a column, so you see which requests are waiting. You do not hear about a late request from the customer.
Categories
Three ready categories arrive when you turn the module on. You add your own; if you delete a category the requests are left without one rather than being deleted. The classification is built around your work.
Linking to the customer card
If the email that opened the request matches your customer record, the request is linked to that card. The support history becomes part of the customer's timeline. Who asked what before is plain on the card.
File attachments
The customer attaches a screenshot or a document to the request. Attachments sit under the request, so you do not have to go looking for them. The document stays inside the request.
New-request notification
When a new request opens and when a customer replies, the team gets a notification inside the app. You do not have to refresh the list by hand. You never see a new request late.
Searching requests and customers
When the queue grows, search by code, by subject or by customer name. You can narrow it down by category too. You find what you are after from a single box.
Separated rights
Seeing, replying, assigning, resolving, deleting and managing settings are separate permissions. A new colleague can write replies but cannot delete a request. Growing the team brings no risk of losing records.

Frequently asked questions
Is this module the same as the Workinno support team?
No, they are two separate systems and never mix. The help window at the bottom right is your correspondence with Workinno; this module is where your own customers write to you. The requests sit in different queues.
Does my customer have to create an account?
No. The customer opens the portal, writes their name, their email and their question, and a request is created. After that they follow the status with the ticket code and the same email; no password is needed.
Why is the ticket code not sequential?
A sequential number leaks your total request count: someone who sees two codes can work out how many were opened in between. That is why the code is six random characters.
When does a live chat turn into a request?
When the visitor asks for an agent and nobody replies within the time you set, the conversation becomes a request. You set that time in the settings, and the same conversation never opens a second request.
Does an automatic warning go out when time runs over?
No. First-reply, resolution and closing times are recorded and shown in the list, but a late request does not raise a warning or escalate on its own.
What happens if one customer writes both by email and from the portal?
Two separate requests are created, because they may be two different subjects. A continuation of the same email exchange, on the other hand, does not open a new request; it is added to the existing one.
If I turn the module off, are the requests deleted?
No. When the module is off your team cannot reach the support surface and the customer portal closes, but the request and category records stay in the database. Turn the module back on and everything is in place.
Can I follow a support request as a task?
A request stays in its own queue and does not turn into a task by itself. If a request has grown into a long piece of work, you open a task in the relevant project and follow the progress there.
Do not leave your customer waiting for an answer.
Turn on the support module and give your customers your portal address. You can take your first request today.
